Plant Nutrition Database
Plant Nutrition Database
The Plant Nutrition Database provides growers with an easy way to import analytic results from soil, media, water, and tissue samples, organize them, and interpret the results.
Data from analyses can be imported from CSV files or entered manually. Samples can be organized by sample type, plant, location, and sample date. Samples can also be graded to indicate relative vigor or quality so that good samples can be easily distinguished from poor samples.
Individual samples can be charted to graphically display nutrient levels compared to nutrient sufficiency ranges, making it easier to identify deficiencies and excesses. The database also allows growers to use DRIS statistical analysis to compare nutrient ratios and calculate a nutrient balance index for each sample.
The full edition gives the user access to the tables and code. The functional edition works just like the full edition but without access to the code or tables. The sample edition allows the user full functionality but limits the number of samples to ten. Both the functional and sample editions can be used with the runtime version of MS Access.
