Data Solutions Manual

Data Solutions for the Green Industry is a manual for learning to build a custom database to help manage a nursery, greenhouse, or related business. The manual covers what a database is and how it works, the planning that should go into implementing a database solution, step-by-step instructions for building a database from scratch, and examples of solutions that are currently being used by several companies in the green industry. 

The manual uses examples that are relevant to the green industry, including plants, inventory, pest control, record-keeping, nutritional analysis, and more. After completing the instruction set, the reader will have created a functional database and should have a good understanding of how to develop a custom solution for their business. Two companion databases are available to accompany the text.
